Now a days we're hearing a lot about Yazidis stranded on a mountain Sinjar in Northern Iraq as they fear persecution by ISIS. They're not Muslims but then who are they? Answer is simple yet complicated. Yazi dis are not descendants of Yazid Mawiya so first clear your mind about that. Yazidis are there since approximately 4000BC. And they now have a religion that's a cocktail of Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Or in other words these three relatively recent religions trace their roots back to Yazidis. Yazidis have a 180 degree opposite but at the same time a shared believe with Islam. They believe that Iblis was a holly angel whome God tested by ordering to bow to human. Which he denied and hence passed the test and God raised his status. Further they believe that they're are children of Adam and a Hoor and other humans are children of Adam and Hawa. The days have long passed when humans used to protect their borders from other intruders and hunters. This was done to preserve the limited supply of food available and to let animals living in that area breed and multiply in numbers. When The Arab Muslims invented Algebra they called the unknown factor in an equation as "الشیئ" meaning "a thing". When Spanish translated the Algebra to their language they didn't have the word to represent the sound for "ش" hence they borrowed the Greek alternative for it called "kai" written as "ϗ". Consequently, one who seeks his horoscope comes under the ruling contained in the Prophet's statement, "The salah (daily prayer) of whoever approaches a fortune teller and asks him about anything will not be accepted for forty days and nights." [Sahih Muslim, vol. 4, p. 1211, no. 5440] The punishment in this hadith is simply for approaching the asking the astrologer, even if one is in doubt about the truth of his statements. If one is in doubt about the truth or falsehood of astrological information, he is in doubt about whether or not others know the unseen and the future besides Allah.
